Jevtović Mina

I am a third year PhD student at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL) in Spain, working in the Speech and Bilingualism research group led by Dr Clara Martin. My PhD research is focused on how orthographic knowledge affects speech perception and production at different stages of reading acquisition. Moreover, I am also investigating the role of orthography in auditory novel word learning. During my PhD I was a short-term SFB 1287 fellow for six months at the University of Potsdam, Germany.

Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Cognition, Attention and Learning Lab (CALL) under the supervision of Dr David Luque, and completed a Master in Cognitive Neuroscience of Language at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL). During my masters, I worked under the supervision of Dr Angela de Bruin on a project looking into the effects of different interactional contexts on bilingual language control.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Belgrade where I also worked as a student Research Assistant in two different labs: Laboratory for Experimental Psychology and Laboratory for Neurocognition and Applied Cognition.
